 About me

     Yuwei Yang has studied violin since she was a child, and because of her love to music and performance, she decided to become a professional violinist.

   She is now studying Master degree at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the United Kingdom, learning with Ivo Stankov, one of Bulgaria's leading and most versatile artists of his generation.

  At the same time, guided by Tim Smedley, Nicholas Trygstad, Tasmin Little and William Li in music performance field.

  Yuwei majored in music performance graduated from Ocean University of China for undergraduate.  

  Through continuous hard work and study, Yuwei wants to gain further studying on musical understanding and violin performance, she will always keep moving and work hard to follow her dream "Achieve the Extraordinary"!

 Tone poem at Seashore

   Yuwei played Chinese piece "Tone Poem at seashore" in her recital in UK.

 

"This is a piece I played during undergraduate, fulled of my memory and memories in my hometown Qingdao. In addition, I think it's a good idea to bring Chinese music performing in UK."

  

Meditation from Thais

  Yuwei performed Meditation in Formal Evening Concert holding in church of Italy Pienza and praised by Esther and William. :)

"This is one of my most satisfying performance videos, I enjoyed the performance, despite being nervous before going on stage. This piece contains my emotions and this successful performance has given me more confidence!"

 Mendelssohn Violin Concerto in E minor, Op.64

  Yuwei used this piece winning first prize of the 4 Fanny Mendelssohn International Competition in Master A-Violin.

"Although there are some shortcoming that exist, I will keep moving and hard-working to make bigger progress!"
